Barbara Silva, Chairman of the Board
Barbra Silva serves as the Chairman of the Board for the BATTER-UP Foundation. She is the Director of Community Relations for the Washington Nationals, a position she moved to after working for Major League Baseball in New York City.
Marvin Dickerson, Director
Marvin Dickerson serves as President of the 100 Black Men of Greater Washington DC, Mr. Dickerson served as Vice-President for Operations for three years. Also, Mr. Dickerson holds two additional Board of Directors positions with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington and the Stuart Educational Leadership Group. Both of these organizations are committed to the development of young people.
Damon Jones, Director
Damon Jones is the Vice President Club Counsel for the Washington Nationals. Mr. Jones previously worked for the law firm of Williams and Connolly. He is a graduate of Harvard University Law School.
Hugh Kelly, Director
Hugh Kelly serves as the co-treasurer for BATTER-UP. Mr. Kelly is a native of Dublin, Ireland and is a 1977 graduate of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with a B.B.A. degree in Finance/Economics. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Graduate Banking School, Seattle, the ABA's International Banking School, and attended Schiller College, Heidelberg, Germany.
Joe Petrosinelli, Director
Joe Petrosinelli is a partner with the law firm of Williams and Connolly. Mr. Petrosinelli has an active civil and criminal litigation practice. In 2003, he was selected by The American Lawyer as one of the "top 45 under 45", a group of the highest performing members of the private bar under the age of 45. Mr. Petrosinelli is a member of the firm's Executive Committee.
Steve Lainoff, Director
Steve Lainoff serves as co-treasurer for BATTER-UP. Mr. Lainoff is a partner of the accounting firm KPMG. His foundation, the Lainoff Family Foundation, has been the foremost supporter of the BATTER-UP / RBI program.
Keith Stubbs, Founder & Director
Keith Stubbs is the Founder and Director of BATTER-UP. Keith has operated the Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities program in Washington, D.C. since 1998. He also works as a scout for the Philadelphia Phillies and has worked in over a dozen middle schools, high schools, and colleges around the Washington, D.C. area as a coach and leader.
