- Junior team wins bid to represent in the RBI/WBBA World Series by winning the regional

- Senior RBI/WBBA team wins the regional
1996
- Washington Barons Baseball Association (WBBA) was founded by Keith Stubbs as a representative for RBI in the Nation's Capitol
- The number of players grow from about 50 to well over 200 interested players in becoming a part of the D.C. RBI/WBBA teams
- The D.C. RBI/WBBA teams have over 75 former members in colleges and universities, and 5 players have been drafted as free agents into Minor League Baseball
1992
- Major League Baseball assumed responsibility for RBI in 1992
- RBI programs grow from only 8 teams to over 200 cities worldwide
1989
- RBI was founded
- DC was one of eight cities where RBI originated
